Today we’re announcing a big change:
Keywee is now Anyword
Changing a company name is not something to take lightly. It’s not something you do every day. But as we grow and evolve our products, we felt it was time. We wanted to better reflect how we serve our publisher and growth marketing customers – by delivering and optimizing the most effective messages for any audience, any product, any format, using any word.
How did we get here?
When Keywee was first founded 8 years ago, its mission was to empower content marketers to find the right audiences through paid channels. We did this using sophisticated Natural Language Processing and machine learning. In short – our products have always had an AI component.
Over the years, we’ve become the market leader in helping publishers drive high-quality audiences that meet and exceed their business goals. We work with some of the biggest names in publishing, from CNN to Condé Nast. We’re proud to say that The New York Times is one of our key investors.
Now let’s be clear – our commitment to the publishing world has not, and will not change. We are very proud of the product we built for publishers, and it’s that product that is at the heart of our company, and that has fed our growth. We will continue to invest in and innovate our publisher products, and be a valued partner for the publishing industry.
The thing is though, that when your core business utilizes AI to optimize paid distribution, you start learning a thing or two. We’ve run millions upon millions of ads over the years which makes us uniquely positioned to innovate in that space.
So, we were already using Natural Language Processing, and it was a key factor in our success. Then, the technology reached an inflection point. There were dramatic breakthroughs in Natural Language Generation that could not be ignored. In other words, in the last couple of years, AI has figured out how to write, and since we already taught ours how to read, teaching it how to write was the natural next step.
In the last year, we have used this breakthrough to build the world’s first Language Optimization Platform. Helping publishers and growth marketers create data-driven, high-performing copy, and evaluate that copy to help them reach their target audience with the right message at the right time. This platform continues to grow and evolve, and we’ll have a lot of exciting announcements about it in the coming weeks.
So really, the big change has already happened. We just needed our name to catch up.
Ok – so what’s actually changed?
Not that much, actually! We have a new logo and a new URL, but the value we bring to our customers and our constant efforts to evolve and improve our products will continue.
We’re excited for everything that’s to come. Here’s to looking ahead! New name, new horizons, new paths to grow, and new opportunities. Thank you for hopping on this crazy ride with us.
