The opportunity:

We’re looking for an experienced knowledge base manager to take ownership of all aspects of product knowledge and related communications to customers.

The knowledge base manager will be experienced and proactive with a native English language background, technical orientation, and a passion for technology and marketing. The knowledge base manager will lead all activities involving product documentation, video content, the customer knowledge base, and communication of product features and capabilities.

Responsibilities (or what you’ll be doing):

  • Produce and manage all product documentation activities including release notes, help center articles, and video tutorials
  • A-Z production of compelling customer-facing video content including product walkthroughs, how-to’s, and troubleshooting guides
  • Create and publish customer-facing product feature announcements
  • Lead and enhance customer community platform and activities
  • Work closely with the product management and R&D teams to ensure that product communications are easy to understand

Qualifications (or what we’re looking for):

  • 3+ years in a technical writing/knowledge base role
  • Native English speaker — a must
  • Demonstrated proficiency in oral, written, and presentation abilities
  • Video creation and editing experience
  • Familiarity with technical writing tools and procedures (e.g. Zendesk)
  • Technical background/experience in UX, product management, or customer success — an advantage
